The Philippine Roll Ball Association (PRBA) continues to strengthen the growth of roll ball in the country after signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Silvinia Village Homeowners Association, Inc. (SVHAI), in partnership with the United Reborn Skaters Roll Ball Association (URSRBA), for the use of the Silvinia Village Covered Court in Barangay Talipapa, Novaliches, Quezon City.

Located along Tamban Street, the covered court will serve as an official training and tournament venue for various PRBA and URSRBA activities, as both organizations intensify efforts to promote and expand the sport nationwide.

PRBA President Tony Ortega, SVHAI President Domingo “Jun” Batimana Jr., and URSRBA President and Coach Jayson Seneres, along with roll ball athletes, coaches, and representatives from the homeowner’s association, attended the MOA signing ceremony.

Batimana expressed his appreciation to the organizations for selecting the Silvinia Village Covered Court as part of the national team’s preparation and grassroots development program.

For his part, Ortega shared the federation’s long-term plans, including preparations for two major international competitions in the coming years.

“After ng dalawang international competitions na sinalihan natin sa India in the past two years, maglalaro tayo ngayon sa Junior World Cup ngayong taon at sa World Cup naman sa 2027.

Ortega also emphasized the importance of partnerships and support from communities that understand the value of sports development.

Hopefully, mas tumagal pa ang relationship namin with SVHAI,” he said.

Meanwhile, PRBA continues to work toward securing membership with the Philippine Olympic Committee while also seeking stronger support from the Philippine Sports Commission as it pushes for the sustained growth and recognition of roll ball in the Philippines.

Aside from Quezon City, PRBA’s growing network of affiliated roll ball communities now includes Coron, Palawan; Lingayen, Pangasinan; and Cainta, Rizal.
